Bridging Women’s Wellness and Diabetes Care” is a unique initiative on addressing the unique challenges and needs that women face in managing diabetes while also promoting overall wellness. This initiative recognizes that women often juggle multiple roles and responsibilities, including care giving, work, and managing their own health. India have highest diabetic population in the world, more than 101 million people in India living with diabetes, out of that 60% are women. Most of women from rural areas due to lack of awareness not go for diabetes diagnosis, they take care family health but compromises with own health by Empower Her Health aims to empower women to take control of their health, improve diabetes outcomes, and enhance their overall quality of life. This initiative focuses on educating women about diabetes prevention, management, and treatment options. This includes raising awareness about the importance of regular screenings, healthy eating habits, physical activity, stress management, and medication adherence and The initiative establishes support networks and peer-to-peer mentorship programs where women can connect with others facing similar challenges. This provides a sense of community, shared experiences, and emotional support, which can be invaluable in managing diabetes effectively. By this project advocates for improved access to healthcare services, including free screening, diagnostics, medications, and specialized care for women with diabetes. It addresses barriers to access such as transportation, childcare, and language barriers and address gender disparities in healthcare, promote policies that support women’s health, and ensure that diabetes care is inclusive and equitable.
